Oct 2002. Built by the Hunslet company in Leeds, England. this is shunting locomotive, Y class 679 at Demateragoda, just north of Colombo. This is the location of loco workshops and running sheds. Security and access is strict but i managed to meet the area manager who kindly organised me a rare guided tour of the site.
